The Forest Railway Stories : Book 6

Newly restored to service on the Forest Railway, it is a big day for Uskmouth. Station Master Winston is getting married to Gertrude and the little engine has to pull the Wedding Train taking the bride and guests to St. Mary’s church. However, as they make their way down the line from Parkend station, more and more Forest folk get on board at each stop they make and Uskmouth starts to get worried – “I’m only small and the train is getting heavier!” Finally, a coupling breaks because of the weight and it looks like the bride won’t make it to the church at all. “But wait”, says Gertrude, “Maybe my bridal train can help..?”
