From 'Dolgarrog Alumnium Works': A view of the works from just above the Works Manager's house. His newly erected rose pagoda appears in the foreground and his wife can be seen binding plants to the uprights. The freshly dug canal can be seen running towards the Conwy river in the background, although the riverbank has not yet been breached. The wooden derrick just visible at the far end of it marks the site of the river jetty. Courtesy Richard Stenlake
