17 December 1844  Granted a gale in equal parts to Elam Jenkins and James Beech, both of Ruspidge, for a level situate at Quidchurch at the bottom of the Incline Plane, to get coal from the Yard Delf and all other unalloted veins of coal.

24 June 1849 Surrendered.

8 February 1893  Thomas Meredith, St. Johns Row, Ruspidge, had applied for re-grant on 18 October 1892.  Wanted a portion of the Trenchard.  The Crown originally believed that the portion of coal wanted was on the Extension gale, however, then decided that the award came within Stapledge Colliery which had been surrendered.
Meredith intending to open gale in the Wood Inclosure near Stockwell Green on the road leading from Cinderford to Ruspidge.
Two previous applicants, one in 1854, other in 1880.
1854 application by Anthony Roberts of Littledean Woodside for a pit at Quidchurch.  Witnessed by William Corbett.  Roberts now deceased.

10 December 1900  To be granted.

15 June 1903  To be surrendered.

4 June 1904  Meredith now 88.

30 May 1906  To surrender but not done.

21 December 1908  Galees Messrs. Davis & Evans, spent £200 but found no quantity of coal.

31 December 1909  Surrendered.
