All that tract of coal in the Churchway High Delf vein, and all other veins above, commencing at a point 140 yards south of Brookhall Ditches Old Pit, and extending in a southern direction as deep as the line of the Old Standfast Level.

11 October 1886  to Parkend & New Fancy Collieries.  Lease of land at Church Hill about to expire.  Held only to prevent intrusion.

9 September 1890  Extension of time for opening of gale granted.

29 September 1895  About to expire.  Also Independent Level and Catch Can.

23 December 1897  Company the holder of several small gales from which coal practically exhausted - still some in Little Brittan.  Only reason for holding them is that they are on the outcrop and on land side of Parkend gael.  Water pumped at Parkend in winter not less than 300 gallons a minute.
Deakin seeking rent reductions but Crown thought them a fair price for insurance.
