Timothy Trigg of the Harrow Hill Green Colliery wanted the use of some old pipes from the Paragon Engine.  The pipes at Haywood Colliery remained in situ as left by the Littledean Coal Co., when the lease of land near Paragon Colliery, formerly held by Peter Constance for brick works, was surrendered on 10 October 1885.
