Colliery held on lease for remainder of 41 years commencing Lady-day 1835

Also 3/4 in two Collieries or Levels called Standfast Old Level, Royal Engine, 1/12 & 1/24 part in Independent Engine, 3/12 of Newman Shropshire Horse Engine.  Work or Hang.  Pillowell Level for remainder of lease for 99 years commencing 2 February 1832 at yearly rent of 10s.

ëthe Kidnalls Collieryí has been pronounced, in the opinion of the three surveyors, capable of yielding from 25 to 30,000 tons per annum, by an outlay, at most, of £6,000, probably much less, and a considerable increase upon o further outlay: this portion of the property is held under a lease from Mr. Bathurst, whose ancestors secured an exemption from a large portion of the railway & other dues.
A colliery called ëThe Kidnallsí, comprising the Coal lying under upwards 2,000 acres of land, in the parishes of Lydney, Newland & St. Briavels, with the Plant, Engines, Machinery, Trams etc...  This colliery is held by lease for the remainder of a term of 41 years commencing at Lady-day 1835 & is subject to the following Royalties or Rents.
 Whittington, Yorkley & Trenchard veins 9d
 On every ton of High Delph 6d
 And of small coal 4d.

And if such royalties shall not yearly amount to £300, then a rent of £300 to be paid in lieu of them.
