11 September 1882  Henry Phipps, Yorkley.  Old Forester, Young Forester & Heart of Oak being registered owner.  I am already working an adjacent colliery which will command all the above named.  But in consequence of trade depression cannot raise half the quantity of coal he thought of doing.

8 February 1923  Heart of Oak No.2 to Amos Morgan and others.

9 June 1923  Conveyance to Parkend Deep Navigation Collieries Ltd.
