Foxhole

28 October 1850  to Richard and William Fox, both of Lane End near Coleford, situate at Worrall Hill, 100 yards on the south side of William Cooper’s patch to get coal from the Trenchard veins.
NOTE:  A license dated 31st May, 1858, was granted to Edward Foxall to get clay underneath the Foxhole gale.

Midsummer 1861  Arrears of rent stand against Edw. Foxall, Cinderford.

Also working Birch Hill Iron Mine - had arrears on all his interests.  Stack of iron mine to be seized for distraint by Crown.

17 November 1879  Iron ore sold at 8/- per ton  64t. 13c.
Also owed money on two quarries, Foxhole Colliery and land held in connection with Richard Whites Gale.

Mr Foxall both bodily and mentally afflicted following a very severe railway accident he met with some years ago.
