From 'Shoreham Airport': The southern view of the terminal building,1936. Very little has changed over the years except the replacement air traffic control tower. Seen here is the small glazed observation post on the top of the building where as now there is a modern construction, which surprisingly, does not look out of place.

From 'McWatters' Bread': The entrance to the bakery through the arch. Set into the roadway beyond was a Pooley weighbridge. This section of the works contained offices and may have been part of the 1907 extension. John McWatters was obviously a master of self advertisement, virtually every face of the building had his name painted upon it. The 'outlet shop' is to the right of the view.
