From 'The Railway Through Stone, Staffordshire Part 2' : A three-car DMU bound for Stoke-on-Trent crossing the main A34 trunk road on its approach to Stone station with a train from Stafford. The bridge is being lengthened to accommodate a road widening scheme with a dual carriageway.
